A confidential partnership proposal for the Shawn Carter Foundation

JAY-DAY

A Blueprint for Success

An intimate Baltimore experience connecting financial empowerment, creative expression, and the cultural legacy of two landmark albums.

DECEMBER 4, 2026 / 3:00–11:00 PM / BALTIMORE, MD

Proposed collaboration only. No endorsement, affiliation, or permission to use JAY-Z-related intellectual property is implied.

The invitation

Celebrating a legacy by investing in possibility.

TEOS Event Design invites the Shawn Carter Foundation to explore a charitable partnership for the inaugural JAY-DAY. We propose contributing 20% of event ticket sales to the Foundation, with a request that the contribution be directed toward financial literacy education benefiting HBCU students, if consistent with the Foundation’s programs and gift-designation policies.

We seek the Foundation’s blessing to move forward with this proposed relationship and guidance on whether the working title “JAY-Z School of Business” may be used. Any name, logo, charitable-partner designation, or public announcement would be subject to appropriate written approval from the relevant rights holders and the Foundation.

Why this matters

For my birthday, I want to give back.

“I want to give hope, awareness, opportunity—and a blueprint for what is possible.”

I share a December 4 birthday with JAY-Z. Usually, I mark the occasion with a solo trip abroad to reset. This year, I want to do something different: bring people together around the lessons that extend far beyond music. As a longtime admirer of his artistic achievements, business leadership, and commitment to opening doors for young people, I see this as an opportunity to turn personal celebration into community impact.

JAY-DAY is intended to inspire attendees to see entrepreneurship, financial knowledge, and creative ownership as possibilities they can pursue with the right tools and support.

2026 → 2027 and beyond

Start intentionally. Grow with purpose.

This December is a deliberately intimate launch—not the full scope of the vision. The 2026 event will establish the concept, gather meaningful participant feedback, and capture high-quality footage and testimonials to support a much larger, full-day 2027 edition.

The long-term vision is a three-part series, with potential to expand beyond Baltimore. An early relationship with the Foundation could help shape a mission-aligned approach as the program grows, subject to mutual interest and approval.

The request

May we explore this together?

We would welcome a brief conversation about charitable-giving procedures, any relevant name and brand permissions, and how to make this initiative genuinely useful to the Foundation’s educational mission.

With the inaugural event approaching on December 4, a timely discussion would help us determine what may be communicated publicly and what approvals are needed before promotion.
